Project Scope: As part of modification works to the existing water reticulation system, this project involved design and build modifications to the existing Tamatea Reservoir.

Physical works involved in the contract included:

• A Structural assessment of the reservoir – post tensioned walls, pilaster panels, floor slabs, ring beams etc.
• Structural modifications to the reservoir for new inlet and outlet pipe penetrations including structural supports for the pipe work
• Design and installation of a baffle curtain within the tank
• Construction of a new valve chamber outside the reservoir
• Remedial repairs to the tank structure
• Cleaning and disinfection of the reservoir
