Waikeria Potable Water Project

Major works included:

• Roading and platform earthworks (10,000m3)

• Roading and platform surfacing, 3500m2 in total

• A new production bore pump and headworks

• Design and build of a 1.5 ML water storage reservoir

• 4000m of underground potable water reticulation

• Piping and pump supply from reservoir to farm supply reticulation

• Wastewater pipe from the water treatment plant to a connection point near the Waikeria Prison Development

• Supply and install of Greensand filter system

• Mechanical installation, including above ground stainless steel pipework, equipment, valving and instrumentation.

• Containerised water treatment plant, complete with backwash system, UV, chlorine, and caustic treatment, including electrical controls and telemetry

• Concrete foundation structures, valve chambers and timber canopy construction

• Planting of visual mitigation and security fencing

• Testing, commissioning and proving
